About Yensy M Photography – Long Island Wedding & Event Photographer

My name is Yensy Marquez. I was born in the Dominican Republic, where I spent my early childhood before moving to the United States at the age of five. From an early age I had a deep love for the arts and music. As a teenager, I would spend hours drawing cartoons and Japanese manga. My passion for photography began in those years, when I first got my hands on a cellphone with a camera.

My Journey Into Photography

I quickly became the “go-to picture person” at family gatherings and celebrations. While my first photos were simple, everyone appreciated them and encouraged me to pursue photography more seriously. After saving up for my first real camera, I discovered a passion that turned into a lifelong career.

My Photography Today

For more than five years, I’ve been running Yensy M Photography, capturing weddings, Quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and family milestones across Long Island and New York City. My goal is to create timeless images that feel authentic, emotional, and true to each client’s unique story.
